Alexandre Mailhot-Théberge
Born and raised in Montreal…
I graduated from university in 2011 in Cinematographic studies and Communication studies certificate at University of Montreal. I have been working in the video production industry for over a decade now.
Driven by this passion, I have started working for CBC Sports Montreal in 2008. I did my first footsteps as an assistant-director but I quickly started to build my own path. Through the years, I learned so much about the job, the industry and the workflow of television. I became a director-editor and got the opportunity to work on several Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups, Roger’s Cup tournaments, sports news and many more projects.
Now close collaborator of Vincent Tremblay and VinceTV Productions, several productions have appeared alongside Bell Media/RDS, The Montreal Canadiens, The Montreal Alouettes, Endurance Aventure, Big Jack’s Factory, Radio-Canada, CSL Group and many more.
It all started when...
In 2014, I worked in Scotland with one of my friends and well known journalist, Olivier Arbour-Masse. Traveling all around the country for two months, documenting their first referendum so that we could share everything to the medias of the province of Quebec; that was my real first test. Mission accomplished and we had a blast!
When I came back from Scotland, my good friend Vince, from VinceTV, asked me if I would be interested in starting a business. The timing was perfect! I’ve known Vince from CBC Sports and I could tell right away that it would be an amazing journey. Needless to say, even after so many years knowing each other, we’re still having as much fun as day 1.
